I love interacting with business leaders who have an interest in getting the best out of their people. One of the joys of these conversations is being introduced to new material. So, today I met the leaders of a great business whose internal surveys (they used Gallup’s Q12) show 90% of their employees are engaged. The UK national average is 17%. During a fascinating conversation they pointed me towards this video.
David Marquet’s ‘Leader Leader’ model is a description of why we do what we do. It is one of the best arguments for the skills we teach in our Art of Enabling Core Skills programme that I have heard.
